Yes, I said Happy Mother's Day because we just celebrated it yesterday. Mother's Day here is always August 15th, no matter the day of the week. The celebration is second only to Christmas celebration. Mothers and older women are HIGHLY respected. Daisey, Rodolfo and the family went to the country to celebrate with Daisey's mom. David and I celebrated by organizing our office and going out for lunch at Taco Bell. Then we celebrated with the family last evening. Nuria makes such delicious cakes and the addition of vanilla chip ice cream only adds to the taste! They gave me a new shirt and two pairs of earrings - how special.
