It was just as beautiful as it looks here! This was the view out our front porch each morning...clear and beautiful. On Tuesday night, we were able to see the glow of lava come down the side several times.
We left on Monday morning for our trip to Volcano Arenal and stopped at Denny's for a little American flavor...Grits! This is the first grits we have had since leaving in April. 
Don't we look relaxed? And it is just the beginning of the vacation! It was indeed a relaxing time.
Did I say relaxed? If you look closing in the tree you will see David being hooked to his final of 16 ziplines. Don't know if I would say relaxed because he's been sore for two days now?! Thanks so much for your prayers for our rest. We are getting some much needed rejuvenation from an intense trimester of Spanish classes. We look forward to some time at the Pacific next week. We will update with pictures from there when we return. It is so wonderful to view the creation of God. He is amazing! All for His glory and enjoyment- and our enjoyment too!

Wow, I never knew Costa Rica was so pretty. I am going to Argentina in January on a mission trip. Really looking forward to that. Hope you guys have a great time! We are proud of you guys.
You guys will have to take us there some time. A couple more months.

yeah yeah the country is beautiful...i can't believe that no one has noted the fact that dad flew through the jungle on a zip line! i sure wish i was there to do that with you!! how fun! i can't believe you were so sore--must have been all that tightening up that you were doing!! :)
